"They will not defeat you, for I will be with you to protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken.”
These are the words spoken to Jeremiah. God spoke to Jeremiah telling him to get ready for a new mission that is to be executed and the mission was to preach to the people of Jerusalem. The people who lived there had sinned and worshipped idols.
On hearing the Lord speaking to him, Jeremiah was doubting whether he was really capable to do such a task. He looked down on himself, but God saw the greatness in Jeremiah.
It is a common mistake that we do it on ourselves too. We constantly keep comparing ourself with others and then we think we are low. But that has to be stopped immediately, because God didn't made us inefficient, incapable, and unworthy - instead he made us full, more effective, more capable, and worthy. We are the children of the most High, we are the children of God.
God promises you that you will not and never be defeated, because he will be with you forever. Even if the storm hit you, remember that Jesus is in your boat to calm your storm, wake Him up. Speak to the Lord, keep praying; for the deliverance is not too far. Whatever it may be, He is our savior and He will answer your call, and the help will arrive you at the right moment. Don't put yourself in a situation of doubt and fear, instead believe and have faith.
You have the increadible abilities that you might not have yet tapped into, but when it is the right time God will make you stand in that stage that you are prepared for; made for. And in that moment hold on to God and believe that He's gonna handle the rest for you, but you have to be ready to do it.
