How We Choose to See the World

We often think that life just happens to us. But the truth is that our days are often a reflection of how we feel inside. "Life is bad to those who hate it."

When we approach each day with a bad mood or a heavy heart, the world seems to push back. It is not that the world is trying to be mean, but that our minds are only looking for things to be upset about.

The Problem with Resentment

When we are angry with life, everything feels like a struggle. We stop seeing the small wins and only see the big losses. In this state:

  • Problems feel like walls that we can't climb.

  • Advice feels like people are just picking on us.

  • Silence feels like we are all alone.

If we keep looking for reasons to be unhappy, we will always find them. This way of thinking makes life feel much harder than it needs to be.

Finding the Good

To make things better, we have to change what we are looking for. Good things are often hidden in plain sight. They are in the small moments that we usually walk right past.

You can change your day by doing three simple things:

  1. Stop and Look: Pay attention to right now. If you are always thinking about yesterday’s mistakes, you will miss today’s joy.

  2. Look for a Win: Even on a bad day, something small went right. Maybe it was a warm meal or a quick chat with a friend.

  3. Be Curious: When something goes wrong, try to ask "What can I learn?" instead of getting angry.

A Small Shift

You do not need a new life to be happy. You just need to change how you look at the life you already have.

If you feel stuck, start small today. Find one thing that makes you feel good. It could be the way the light hits the room or the taste of your morning drink. The more you look for these small pieces of good, the more your life will start to feel good. Enjoy the little things.

When Memories Leave Marks...

“The More Memories We Have, The More Damaged We Become…”

It's a quiet truth most of us never say out loud.

Memories — those tiny, treasured fragments of time — are often seen as a gift. And they are. They remind us of laughter, love, warmth, childhood moments, and the people who once made us feel whole.

But they also carry weight.

Because hidden in those same memories are moments of loss, disappointment, heartbreak, and unspoken goodbyes. The deeper the memory, the heavier the echo.

We don’t always realize it, but the more we carry from the past, the more we bleed in the present. Sometimes, a single scent, a familiar song, or a certain place can bring back what we thought we buried long ago. That’s the thing with memory — it doesn’t ask permission before resurfacing.

And slowly, without knowing, we begin to carry layers of damage —
Not because we’re weak,
But because we’ve lived.
We’ve felt.
We’ve loved deeply, and lost honestly.

But here’s a perspective shift:
What if damage isn’t always a bad thing?

What if it's a sign that we were fully present in life — that we dared to feel, to trust, to dream, even when it hurt?

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3

Yes, we may be a little bruised by the past. But we are not broken beyond repair.
We are becoming — deeper, wiser, more compassionate souls.

So if your memories carry a little pain, don’t run from them.
Let them remind you how far you’ve come.
And most importantly, who walked with you through it all.

Because in the hands of God, even the most damaged parts can become something beautiful.

GOD HAS BETTER PLANS

What do we normally do when things go wrong?
What happens if life takes us to the way that we never wanted to go?
What happens if things happen just the opposite of what we expected?

Our minds end up being sad, frustrated, out of control and when this happens we start reacting negatively to everything around us, we might also end up hurting people, even if it isn't physically it will be mentally. We might interrupt the joy of the other person.

"THE HURT CAN TURN INTO ANGER." It isn't possible to hold your emotions all by yourself but it is possible when you handover the control of yourself to the spirit.

Don't let yourself be caught in the thoughts that are useless. Be still and pray to God. Talk about it, whatever it may be just say it to God. Always this is for sure, that He is by your side to lead you to the right way.

Know this, God has better plans for your life. Sometimes God stops the things that you think are the best for your life but He knows that it will only ruin your future. He works wonders and miracles where there are no possibilities. At times, when you feels you're on the edge, stuck - be still, have faith, believe that this is not the end, bit it is the beginning of the better days that, God has kept for you. He will never leave you all alone but He will make sure that you receive the blessings that He had already sent for you.

Don't worry on the things that didn't work out or didn't come to pass as you had planned for your life. Let go of that thought of negativity away from you and hold on to this one thought, that God has better plans for your life.

Bible verse:
Exodus 14: 14.
The Lord will fight for you and all you have to do is keep still.
