Okay, I Get It — It Hurts.
But hold on. Just take one step at a time.
Some days, it just hurts.
You wake up and it’s heavy — even before your feet hit the floor.
You try to shake it off, drink some coffee, scroll through your phone, act normal… but the weight doesn’t lift.
And you wonder, “How long is this going to last?”
“Why does it feel like I’m the only one falling behind?”
Pain Has a Voice Too
Maybe it’s heartbreak.
Maybe it’s burnout.
Maybe it’s just one of those days when everything feels off and you can’t explain why.
Pain doesn’t always shout — sometimes, it whispers. It lingers in the background of your thoughts, colors your perspective, and convinces you that tomorrow won’t be any different.
But here’s something to hold onto:
You don’t have to be okay today — you just have to keep going.
One Step at a Time
There’s no instant fix. No magic word. No perfect advice.
But there is a rhythm.
One that starts with just one small step.
Not the entire journey.
Not the whole mountain.
Just one movement forward.
📍 Get out of bed.
📍 Breathe.
📍 Pray.
📍 Take a walk.
📍 Text someone.
📍 Do one small thing that reminds you — you're still here.
Because healing doesn't happen in leaps. It happens in layers.
It Will Be Better Tomorrow
Maybe not everything.
But something.
Maybe tomorrow you’ll laugh — even just once.
Maybe you’ll see progress in a place you thought was stuck.
Maybe you’ll wake up and realize the pain has slightly dulled.
Hope is often quiet. But it's faithful.
It shows up even in the dark and whispers, “You’re not done yet.”
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” – Psalm 30:5
So yes, it hurts. I get it.
But you're not weak for feeling. You're brave for continuing.
Keep at it.
Take one step at a time.
Tomorrow holds more than today can see.
