When You Don’t Have a Plan — But You Have Trust

There are days I wake up without a map.

No blueprint. No step-by-step guide.
Just a deep breath… and a quiet prayer:
“Lord, I trust You.”

It’s not because I don’t care about the future.
It’s just that — somewhere along the way — I learned that control is a myth,
and peace is found in surrender.

I used to think I had to have it all figured out.
That being responsible meant having a five-year plan,
backup options, deadlines, and measurable goals.

But here’s what I’ve come to believe —
Faith doesn’t always come with structure.
Sometimes, it looks like walking in fog…
Not knowing what’s five steps ahead,
but still moving forward because He said, “I am with you.”

It’s in those uncertain seasons — when nothing is planned,
when everything feels too quiet or too unclear —
that I’ve seen God show up in the most unexpected ways.

When I didn’t have a plan, He had a purpose.
When I didn’t know the way, He walked with me.
When I didn’t have strength, He carried me.

Maybe that’s the kind of faith that grows deeper roots —
Not when things go as expected,
but when we say, “Even if I don’t know, I still trust You.”

So no, I don’t have everything mapped out.
But I do have trust.
And that’s enough for today.
