"People will get bored eventually of everything; of you."

"People will get bored eventually of everything; of you."

It’s a truth that feels sharp the first time it brushes against your heart.
One day, you’re the person they can’t stop talking to — the one whose presence feels like fresh air.
Another day, you’re a background noise they can barely hear.

It’s human nature. We crave novelty, we seek the next thing. We scroll endlessly, we change playlists, we look for fresher faces, newer voices. And yes, sometimes… we grow tired of people, even the ones we once swore we couldn’t live without.

But here’s the thing — your worth doesn’t hang on who stays or who drifts away.

If you anchor your identity in the approval of people, your joy will rise and fall like a tide you can’t control. But if you anchor it in the One who never changes, you’ll find a love that’s constant. God never gets “bored” of you. He doesn’t swipe past your presence or lose interest in your prayers. His attention doesn’t wander. His heart never grows weary of you.

So when the crowd thins, when the applause fades, and when the phone grows quiet — don’t panic. This is where you learn that your value was never in their hands to begin with.

The world may move on, but He remains.
And in His eyes, you’re never old news.
