“You didn’t have to take away what You had given me.
But You did it anyways...
And I’m just fine with it — I had to.
Yeah, I’m okay.”
These words have been sitting heavy in my heart.
I wasn’t expecting it — not the silence, not the change, not the letting go.
It came like a quiet wind… gentle, yet deeply unsettling.
He gave it — and then He took it.
And I was left there, standing with empty hands and a soul full of questions.
But strangely enough, I didn’t feel lost.
Broken? Yes.
Confused? Absolutely.
But lost? No. Because somehow, even in the taking away, He was still there.
Trust Doesn’t Always Make Sense
We’re often taught to celebrate God’s blessings — the open doors, the miracles, the breakthroughs.
But what do you do when the same hand that gave… takes away?
How do you hold on when what you prayed for is no longer in your hands?
Maybe that’s where trust begins — not in the receiving, but in the releasing.
Trust isn’t always about understanding.
Sometimes, it’s about whispering “I still believe” through tears.
It’s about saying “I’m okay” — not because it doesn’t hurt, but because He is still good.
Letting Go Isn’t Losing
I used to think letting go meant defeat. That it meant giving up.
But I’m slowly learning — letting go is not always about loss.
Sometimes it’s about obedience.
Sometimes it’s about growth.
Sometimes it’s about making room.
Room for something better.
Room for deeper healing.
Room for Him to be enough.
Maybe This Is Faith
Maybe faith isn’t about always being strong.
Maybe it’s about walking with a limp and still choosing to move forward.
Maybe it’s about saying, “I don’t understand, but I’m here. I’m still following.”
Because if He gave it, He had a reason.
And if He took it, He still has a purpose.
So yes — I’m okay.
Not because the pain is gone, but because the peace of God remains.
If you’re in a season of letting go, you’re not alone. And you’re not abandoned.
He sees the ache. He hears the unspoken prayers.
And one day, you’ll understand what now feels like a mystery.
Until then, just take the next step.
Even if it’s small.
Even if your hands are still shaking.
He walks with you.
